Delta signs memorandum of agreement with Al-Alia Trading & Construction

Delta (Doha) Corporation has announced the signing of a contract with Al-Alia Trading & Construction Co. to build a Factory for the design & manufacturing of valves & wellhead equipment in the new Industrial Area, destined for the oil production, designated by the Ministry of Energy & Industry at a cost of 16.5 million Qatari Riyals.

Sheikh Sultan bin Jassim Al Thani expressed his contentment for this contract as it helps to broaden Delta’s activities and increases its capacity in manufacturing Wellhead Equipment to serve the Qatari market as well as the other markets in the region.

Engineer Wesam Swelem clarified that the project will be built on a total area of 12 thousand square meters, consisting of an independent management office on an area of 1200 square meters, an oil & gas wellhead factory on an area of 4200 square meters, and a storage area of 1430 square meters.

Delta has undergone a Joint venture agreement with Yoneki Valves, Japan one of the major manufacturers of Cryogenic & Special service valves in Japan & the World for providing complete service & maintenance support for the projects in Qatar & The Middle East.

Delta awarded QR100m by Kuwait Oil Company

Delta (Doha) Corporation has been awarded a four year contract worth over QR100m by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of wellheads and associated services.
